I'm a former underwriter turned technologist. From my time in the insurance industry, I remember how much effort goes into admin, data entry and chasing information. All of it gets in the way of the real work.

When AI started changing other industries, I went looking for what it could do for insurance. It's a space crying out for smarter tools. Bringing my insurance knowledge together with my love of building technology felt natural.

That's what led me to create coverbound. The idea was simple: give brokers a workspace that takes care of the heavy lifting. It chases the renewals, gets the information out of clients and keeps every file in the right place, so brokers can spend their time on clients and markets.

With coverbound launched in Australia and built for brokers there and in the UK, it feels like things have come full circle: back to the industry where I started, this time helping reshape how the work gets done.
